Okay, This Is One of the Best Books I've Read All Month!!!!

Hey peoples!

Sorry about yesterday's absence--I had to go see the family. I got lip gloss--not to be ungrateful or anything....but lip gloss. I'm about as tomboyish as you can get and I get lip gloss? It smells pretty though--too bad I ain't gonna wear it. I also got socks and a snowflake pencil. So, it was a pretty good day.

I mostly read yesterday--and I stayed up past 6 am reading, trying to finish the book. It was a lot longer than it appeared on Nook. But this morning, I looked it up, and it was 4 dollars! I'm sooo glad I bought it yesterday--I only bought it for 1.
Okay, the book was called Significance by Shelly Crane. It was really....interesting. It did have imprinting on it--kinda like Twilight but with Aces instead of werewolves.
This girl--Maggie (yes, that is her real name, not a nickname)--has had a hard year. Her mom left for no good reason and her dad was so depressed he ignored her and was mean or indifferent to everything that had to do with her. The night after graduation, she's walking--getting away from her dad--when she sees a guy walking across the street and a truck coming.
She saves him and it turns out--he is the cousin of the guy she was about to go out on a date with. After on touch, Caleb--the cousin--imprints on her right in front of Kyle--the guy she was about to leave with. Yeah, that would suck for Kyle, but I personally like Caleb better anyways.
There is this brawl between families and rival clans, and Maggie is dragged right into the middle of it all, with her soul mate saving her--just like she did with him.
People are after her. Since Caleb imprinted on her, they are both waiting to ascend--or get their powers that come anytime after the imprint. These people don't want them to ascend--knowing her gift will be really powerful.
No one had imprinted on anyone else in 20 years--add that to the fact that she's only seventeen, and the imprinting age is in your early 20s.
So Caleb has to protect her from everything--the rival clan....everything that wants to harm her.
Then her dad comes out of it and decides to become her father again--making everything more difficult since she can't be apart from Caleb very long before getting a terrible withdrawal pain. So she has to lie to him--about Caleb and about herself. Once--and if--she ascends, she'll no longer be human, she'll be an Ace...just like Caleb.

I know that is a lot of info--but the book is really long and I didn't even put in as many details as I should to get you to understand it more. It was really long--but I love long books. I love books that take me forever to finish because then there is more to the story--and it's a long read. Since I read books so fast, I like having books that take a day or maybe more--even if I read nonstop.

I think now I'm gonna read some other stuff and see if the second book ever gets cheaper--since it's 5 bucks and I only have 10  week and I am NOT spending half of it on one book unless the series is called Lux--which it's not.

What actually got me to stop and look at Significance--which is an ironic story--the cover had a picture that I'd seen before--it was on a Lux website. It was the cover models of the Lux series! I thought that was awesome.
If you're observant and obsessed about books enough--things might surprise you if you look closely.

More Books Read, Still Have More to Start

Hey, peoples!

I know this is my second post for today, but I have to tell you I did more reading.

I finished a Novella? or is it Novellette? Something like that. It was called Actuality: A Teenage Vampire....something I don't remember. It was definitely Actuality. It was really good. It was a new vampire story--different than anything I've read. The vampireness was genetic, not them being undead.
I think the story could have been extended--it was way to short.
But I still give it 5 stars. It was awesome.

I still have several books to start and finish--Rachel's gonna kill me if I don't finish Ranger's Apprentice. I have to start reading it again. And start other books.

Yeah, that's it for me.

Peace out.

Thanks for tuning in

I Finished Another Completely Awesomely Terrific Book

Hey peoples! How's it goin'?

Sorry I didn't write yesterday, I was a little busier than usual. I'll just give you an update on my life--whether ya like it or not (or whether ya read it or not).

Okay, so I just finished Safe Landing by Tess Oliver--it was a paranormal romance (or so it said--it had paranormal in it, and it had romance, but not really in the way that you would think)
It was this girl--Brazil--who blames her mom for her dad walking out. Now she blames her for them moving away from Boston and to Pelican Bay--in an old house that people say is haunted. She gets there and almost immediately meets Sebastian--a lovesick ghost. He was killed in the 1880's--later in the book you find out what actually happened to him--but before that he'd fallen in love with a girl--Emily. She'd moved to NYC and left him, sending him back his letters unopened. His unfinished business was not knowing if she loved him in the end.
You would think--since it's a paranormal romance that he would forget Emily and fall for Brazil, but it didn't happen like that.
Brazil decides to help him--going out of her way to try and get Emily's diary from its hiding place in her old house. To do that, she has to flirt with the teenage guy that now lives in the house--destroying her chances with the guy she likes--Seth--who is enemy's with the Warner kid.
It was kind of depressing--when she found out about Sebastian's life before he died. He was beaten terribly by his uncle, so bad that he would have to stay in the house for weeks at a time. Later, she thinks the uncle killed him, but he doesn't believe her-- he knew his uncle was bad, just didn't think he was capable of murder.

Okay, I will say, this is the first ghost book I've ever read. I never really wanted to read one, but this one was 99 cents on Barnes and Noble's website, so I broke down and bought it out of curiosity.
I loved it, but I don't think I'm gonna read another ghost story for a while--they depress me. Especially since I figured out how Sebastian died as soon as I read that he smelled like almonds--it was pretty obvious to me. Do you know why he smelled like almonds? Cyanide--more accurately, potassium cyanide, which has a faint, very bitter almond taste. I read a short story once and the main character drank tea that had a bitter almond flavor that he didn't like--The Landlady was the title of it.

Yeah, call me a sap, but I wished Seth wouldn't have been in the picture, and then Brazil falls in love with Sebastian, then he can end his torture and forget about Emily. But I do like Seth--that's what is sooooo frustrating! I liked Sebastian and I liked Seth! WHY DID SETH HAVE TO BE SOOOOOO AWESOME? WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! Yeah, I'm obsessing, but who cares? My Random Book Obsession is the title of the blog for a very good reason.

Anyways, back to life. I got to go bowling today--and I had a lot of fun. I didn't bowl as well as I would have liked--157, 105, and 147 (my average is in the high 140's)--but it was still pretty fun. The lanes were really dry, so I had to purposefully miss my mark to get the ball in the pocket. I didn't get as many strikes as I would have liked, but I did get a butt-load of spares, so I'm pretty satisfied.

I did win the bet with Bailey, if you didn't read any earlier entries from this week. I memorized as many elements off of the Periodic Table of Elements as I could, which turned out to be 118. My memory is FABULOUS! I can say 120 decimals of pi too--3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169339375105820974944592307816406286208998
628034825342117057982148086513282306647--and you can check it.

That's pretty much it for me, since you probably couldn't care less about my life--you probably only care about the book info. Yep, so I guess I'll let you get back to your life, and I'm gonna go read another cheapo book.

Thanks for tuning in and reading all of my randomly obsessiveness on books, pi, and other random stuff.

Random Me Talking About Random Stuff That the Average Human Wouldn't Care About or Understand Completely

Hey! How's everybody doing?

Yeah, I'm doing good. I won that contest between me and Bailey (BOO-YA!) I memorized all 118 elements off of the Periodic Table of Elements in order, and I can even spell them correctly. But, as for pronouncing them correctly...not so much. Have you seen some of the names? Gadolinium? Meitnerium? Darmstadtium? WHAT THE HECK?
But, even better about me being freaky and memorizing all this...BAILEY LOST! I WON! BOO-YA!

I haven't really been reading a lot, but I do have plenty of books to keep me occupied (when do I not have a book to read or reread or however many re's?)
My mom is going to get me to read this series that she really likes--she's on the third and final book right now and keeps asking me to start the first one. I don't know what they're called, so I'm not even going to bother to guess.

I haven't been on Barne's and Noble online for a while...I kinda miss it. I think I'll go there now, since I really feel like relaxing since I just had 118 words forced into my brain.

I'll let you all get back to your lives. If you have lives--I don't really have much of one. I live pretty much book to book, or contest to contest between my friends. I also live blog post to blog post. So...in other words....I really don't have a life.

Thanks for tuning in.

Me Obsessing About More Random Stuff

Hey peoples! Did you have a good Christmas?

Okay, I haven't really been reading a lot, but I can't stay away from my blog for more than a few hours, so here I am! I finished rere...reading Unlikely Allies, and now I'm rererere...reading Obsidian.

But...in other news....
The reason I haven't read as much as usual is because I have to win a bet with Bailey. Our last day before break, Bailey said she was going to memorize the Periodic Table. I said I could memorize more of it faster, and...yep, we are all really competitive, so she was all "Bring it on!". The stakes are I have to do her math homework for a week if she wins, and she gives me The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight...which tells you how much she wants me to do her homework. I honestly don't know why she agreed, since she knows how freaky I am with memorizing stuff. I memorized 119 decimals of pi in, like, two hours--and that wasn't continuous, it was me working on it for ten minutes and taking a small break.
So far, I've memorized 63, and I just started yesterday. TAKE THAT BAILEY! I started yesterday because I was way too lazy reading earlier in the break. I could have had it memorized by now.
Yeah, and on Bailey's blog, I found out she only has 28 memorized, but that was yesterday morning, so I'm guessing she has about 32 memorized now.
I've been working on it a lot today--about three or more hours nonstop. It is a lot harder than memorizing numbers, since my brain is more hardwired for numbers. I'm also trying to spell them correctly, so it's taking even longer.

I'm gonna talk about a television show now, if you don't mind too much. Yesterday (while I was memorizing) I was watching Brain Games on National Geographic (it was a marathon).
I learned some really interesting things...like...Did you know it actually isn't possible for the normal human being to multitask? Our brains can only effectively focus on one thing at a time, that's how people can pick your pocket in public. I found out it is really true. They had these dancers on stage, and they said you had to count every time someone went into the spotlight. At the end of the dance, they asked if anyone saw the penguin that walked across the stage behind the dancers. I didn't see it, but Dad did. It was a guy in a penguin suit, and was obvious if you weren't focusing on the dancers.

Interesting stuff, right? I also learned that the average human can only memorize five to seven things without forgetting something. I must not be very average then, because it was kind of easy to memorize half of the periodic table.

I told Parker about it, but he wasn't answering my message, so I don't know if he actually did what I said and watched the show. That's his loss because there were a lot of geeky facts on that thing.

Yep, I'll let y'all get back to your lives.

Thanks for tuning in.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Merry Christmas!

I'm gonna keep this post short since I have to leave soon...and y'all need to get back to your lives and have a good Christmas.

I started reading something you would never suspect....The Count of Monte Cristo. I haven't gotten very far (just chapter 3) but it is better than I thought. I'm also rere...reading Unlikely Allies and Obsidian.

I really need to start reading Throne of Glass and finish Ranger's Apprentice, so I'm gonna be working on those too.

Well, bye, Merry Christmas and all that.

Thanks for tuning in!

I FINISHED ANOTHER BOOK! (Big shocker, Right?)

Hey peoples!

Okay, I know I usually limit myself to one post a day, but I'm willing to make an exception.

I just finished reading Mask by Patricia Caviglia. It was technically a novella instead of the usual novel, but it's still a book...right?
It was pretty good, and it definitely wasn't what I expected.
I don't know...I'm kind of picky and there was a lot of stuff I wish wasn't in it. It was still pretty good, and David's whole bad-boy act was pretty hot, but I don't know what I think about Becca. She didn't see things as clearly as she should. She saw only what she wanted to see, not what was actually there. She didn't see how her best friend stole every guy she liked on purpose. She defended her dad--who abused her and was a jerk to her, saying he was just extremely overprotective and worried about her. This was the same guy who was arrested because he was yelling at her in front of the whole school for no good reason--yeah, he worries. I think she was book smart, but she really wasn't people smart--at all.
She also didn't trust people. She kept her home situation to herself--she wouldn't even trust it with David. She knew he would be there for her, but she really only cared about herself in that. She didn't want him to break up with her if she said her parents refused to let her go out on a date, so she lied--but she should have known he loved her enough to stay with her, even if it was hard. She also lied about a lot of things--and lying is wrong. Especially when you're lying to someone who cares about you and can help you. You just hurt them. And she really hurt David.

But David and Becca were such a cute couple. She was sweet and shy, and he was all bad-boy in the mess-with-me-and-you'll-be-in-the-emergency-room way, but he was actually a good person--it was just an act...mostly. But the whole bad-boy thing is seriously hot--especially if the guy is like David and is actually a good guy.

I don't know...I just have a weakness for a good sap story--I'm a total girl like that.

I have to go.

Thanks for tuning in!

Rereading Books and Writing Crazy Stories

HEY PEOPLES! What's up? You all good? I am!

Okay, I officially LOVE break! Usually, I'm not much of a Christmas spirit type of person--where I go around singing those annoying carols and stuff--but this year is different. I still don't sing--never--but I like Christmas break. It is much-needed. I do like Christmas--don't get me wrong--I just don't see the point in all of the before-Christmas stuff.

Okay, so I've been rereading How to Date an Alien and I officially love it....again. I just like the story--even if a lot of crazy, weird stuff happens. I really like Alex--and, of course, Ace. I think one of my favorite parts of that book is when she first meets Ace and she asks him if he wears guyliner. Then she had him rub above his eyes to prove that he didn't--which he didn't wear any, he's just an alien and that's how he looks. Yeah, I just think it's funny.

So, truthfully, I haven't read all that much. I've actually been learning how to play with a Rubik's Cube--which I nailed! Yo-yos are soooo two days ago--just kidding, I'll never get tired of yo-yos. My record on the rubik's cube, though, was 2.5 minutes! I was so proud of myself.

I've also been writing again. I'm now working on 2 stories--but I have started others.
If you want to read them (which I don't know why you would, I don't think I'm any good) click HERE. I've been working on three, but I'm ditching Me and All of the People I Forgot for now...I'm gonna finish Sunlight and Eyebrows and My FAKE Life Story first.
Comment on that blog--under the stories--if you liked/didn't like them.
*WARNING* NONE OF THEM ARE FINISHED!

Thanks for reading!

More Extreme Nerdiness and My Awesome First Day of Christmas Break

Hey peoples! How are y'all? Are you stayin nerdy? I hope so!

Okay, all day I've obsessed with The Watchers by Lynnie Purcell. It is a completely awesome free ebook on Barnes and Noble (fyi) and it is completely and totally awesome!
I've, of course, read it before, but it was good enough for me to reread--even though I have books I should be reading instead.

It's about the Watchers--who are the children of fallen angels. Watchers is just their common name. In other books *cough* Hush, Hush, they are called Nephilim, it's the same thing. Anyways, it's about this girl Clare, and her and her mom Ellen just moved AGAIN and this time it's to Ellen's former home. The story startes a TINY bit dull, but once you meet Daniel....swoon. They constantly fight and Daniel can be a little strange, but it's awesome. And...drumroll....Clare can read minds! I LOVE that kind of thing.

So, today was my first day of Christmas break and it was awesome! (I use that word a lot...AWESOME!) We went bowling and I ROCKED! I bowled a 153, 155, and a 147--which, to some of you, might suck, but for a girl who has zero hand-eye cordination and is the clumsiest girl EVER...it's pretty un-freakin--believable! Also, it's been months since I last bowled, so I was expecting to be pretty suck-ish.

The world is supposed to end today!! NOOO!!!!! Honestly, people can believe what they want, and I just believe that I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and we will all still be here.

Today was really cold! I know it's not as cold here as it is in other places, but I'm a book nerd that barely ever goes outside, so it's cold. I can barely stand it when it's, like, forty degrees (F), but today it felt, like, thirty.

Yep, I'm done with my randomness for now. I'm just gonna relax and....read, of course!

Sorry for my extreme randomness and my obsessiveness on The Watchers and Hush, Hush.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this!
BYE! STAY NERDY! AND BE RANDOM EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE!

P.S. And remember...normal is soooooo overrated!

Hello, Random People of the Planet! I FINISHED MY BOOK!

Wassup? How are y'all tonight? Doin' good? I'm pretty good, in case you were wondering.

About 5 seconds ago, I finished my book--Shattered by Elizabeth Lee. I will say the general story line was pretty good, but it did lack a...it was a little annoying. This girl's best friend--Garret (I think that's how they spelled his name)--who died in a car accident. Her other best friend (and the guy she had a crush on)--Jesse--left her without even saying goodbye. He moved to Florida and didn't contact her in any way, shape, or form during that whole time. The story starts off when he comes back, the only reason he would have to come back was...Alyssa.
In my opinion, there was way too much cussing and...other stuff in it for my taste. They were drinking underage...that kind of thing (they mentioned drinking when they were 15, maybe younger).
Anyways, I still liked the general story--three friends who lost everything, and the  two are left to pick up the pieces.
It was a little bit depressing--I can't even imagine being at one of my best friend's funeral when they were only 18 when they died. It would suck!
Anyway, I would give it 2.5 stars. While the general story was good, I was really disappointed with it. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have bought it.

Now, I'm not buying another book this week. I'm determined to just stop buying them and start re...reading books for a while so I can actually earn money for a little bit.

Tomorrow...the world will end. NOT! I seriously doubt it will happen. Everyone can think as they like, but I don't believe the Mayans could have seen the world ending. More likely, I think they just got tired of making calenders.

I'M FINALLY OFF FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK! I don't have to get up early tomorrow! I can just read and read and read.

Do you peoples think I read to much? My parents are a little bit frustrated with me right now, since I spent the last six hours on my bed, not moving, only reading and ignoring the rest of the world.

I think I do, but it's a way for my mind to be at peace. I like the feeling of transporting my mind somewhere else, and you can imagine how everything looks as you go--unlike movies, where you have to watch the scene as they put it. It was also my way of coping when things got rough for me....I don't know, I just like it because I don't think--it's like I can be anyone I want. But, when I finally put the book away, I can just be...me.

Nothing extremely funny happened today, even though Bailey's spitting issues from yesterday did come up a few times. Yep, turns out, Kandy knew there was a piece if lettuce in the soda, but didn't put it there on purpose. She originally gave me the soda, but my throat was hurting, so I gave it to Bailey instead of drinking it...I've never been more happy to have a sore throat in all of my life.

I GOT TO GO!

Thank you for tuning into my extreme randomness and book-love nerdness.

My Extremely Random Book-nerdiness and Other Random Stuff From My Extremely Nerdy Mind (Pi, Blue, The History Channel, Books, Math, Bailey's Spitting Issues)

Hey peoples! How's everything with y'all 'round the globe?

It is getting so cold here! I usually don't go outside anyways, but I prefer warmer temperatures...at least 60 degrees (F) for me to be good.

I finished The Prince with Amnesia last night--at eleven o'clock. I was really tired this morning since I had to get up at five--freaking--thirty.
The ending wasn't as good as I thought it would be--the overall book didn't meet my high expectations--but it was pretty good. I think it was worth the time, so what really matters about the ending? It still ended the way I wanted it to, but I think the author should've extended it a little more--but I say that for pretty much every book, unless the main character dies.

I only missed one point on my math midterm! I'm really good at math, but I freak out a little when I  have to take a test like that. An example of my nerdness is I won a bet with Rachel last week--I had to memorize pi to the 75th decimal. Right now, I can say pi up to the 119th decimal (I got bored in my History class).

Yeah, that's pretty much it for me. I DID rerererererere(I don't know how many 're's)read Silence and I reread Opal. I REALLY shouldn't have read Opal because I HATE THE ENDING! But, on the other hand, Silence's ending is freaking wonderful, so I'm glad I rerere....read it.

I don't know what I want to read next--I can't afford many more books--I think I'm gonna just re...read a ton of the books on my nook and hope for the best.

Bailey was funny today. At lunch, she had a bottle of lemon juice that her and Kyra were drinking from. It was funny because we dared Bailey to do three gulps without making a face. She said she could and took a gulp and completely lost it! She made a really funny face and spit it out--all over her tray. It was also funny because my other friend Kandy gave her the rest of her soda, and we left for class. In the middle of a movie we were watching, I look over and see Bailey take another drink of the Coke and make a face. She leaned into the aisle and spit it on the floor! She screamed "THERE WAS SOMETHING SOLID IN THAT!" I burst out laughing and turns out, it was a piece of lettuce--Kandy's doing.

It was pretty funny.

Sorrrrrrry.....I've been doing that lately, going to random topics for no apparent reason.
Parker once had me, him, Sam, and Bailey play a game. We started off with a random word and we had to think of what that made us think of...on and on and on...and see where we ended up. I started with blue and ended with the History Channel. My mind went through a lot to get to that, but it was still a weird outcome.

Sorry again.

I really want to now read Heir to Terror. It looks really good, but I don't know if I'll read it 'cause I also really, REALLY want to read Destiny's Fire (I think that's what it's called). Yep....Well I gtg.

Thanks for tuning into my randomness!

New Book!

HEY PEOPLES!

I actually finished Pure by Jennifer Armentrout! I thought the ending was okay...but not as BANG! as I thought it would be.
And...guess what!?!?!? Grace is now Team Aiden!!! She now hates Seth! FINALLY! She finally saw Alex would be better off without that selfish jerkface.

I started reading a new book--The Prince with Amnesia by some author that I can't remember the name of. I think it's pretty good and I'm really close to finishing it.
I would tell you a little bit about what it's about, but the title is a little self-explanatory.

I think next I'm gonna read Heir to Terror: An Arranged Marriage by (again) some author that I don't remember the name of. It's about this sixteen year old girl whose parents are making her marry this prince dude that is also sixteen--and she is from modern-day America, and she is being forced to get married. I don't remember her name, but her brother's name is Mario--I wonder how I could remember that...hmmm.......

I actually stopped reading for an hour--new record--and watched Dinner for Schmucks with Steve Correll and other people....It was really funny, now I'm listening to the closing credits since I'm too lazy to get up and turn off the tv. And...in the words of John Lennon....You may say I'm a dreamer--but I'm not.
I love that movie.

Well, I'm gonna go.
Thank you for staying tuned to my randomness.

I'm FREAKING OUT!

I am freaking out! Totally--in the run around screaming like a mad person kind of way!!!!

WARNING: If you ever want to read the Covenant series by Jennifer Armentrout and you don't want me to spoil anything about Pure or Half-Blood, please don't read this.

I'm about a third of a way through Pure and I am freaking out! Alex just said she would see what happened between her and Seth, in the dating kind of way! That is not supposed to happen! She has to be with Aiden! If she falls in love with Seth, she'll end up dead, but if she stays in love with Aiden and it's discovere, then she'll become a servant for the rest of her life.
I hate her.
A lot.
So freaking much, I can taste it.
Actually--that's not true. In reality taste a candy apple sucker that is in my mouth right now.
Never mind--just another random thing coming from all things Jac.
I went back to earlier in the book--with the oracle Grandma Piperi (or something like that). She'd told Alex something like  "You must make a choice between need and love, fate and future. History is on repeat and now it is time to hit 'stop'. If you choose fate, everything your momma did for you will be for naught."
I think Seth is fate and Aiden is future. Everyone is saying Alex is Seth's "other half" and that they are meant to be together--it's fate. If anyone found out about Alex loving Aiden, then they would give Alex the elixir and force her into slavery--it's the forbidden, but Aiden is her future, not Seth.
If Seth ever rebelled against the council, then Alex would be the one they would have stop him. If she was in love with him....they would both die. That wouldn't be an issue if she was with Aiden.

If you want to know a secret of mine, stay tuned.

I kind of think this kind of stuff is awesome. The romantic stories where the guy would do anything for the girl he loves--even die without any hesitation. He can sweep her off her feet and know how to make her smile or laugh. He can be the only thing that keeps her sane.

I like that stuff even though I know that it's not real. It doesn't happen like that in real life. That stuff is only in books and movies--and sometimes music.

If you ever tell anyone I just wrote that stuff, I will deny it.

Still, that stuff should be real--I wish it was real.
But I'm still pretty much a kid. I've never even had a boyfriend before. That's another reason why I like books--it's like you are that character for the time being, but then you can face the real world head-on again, ready for anything.

Yep, sorry, I'm being all weird and girl--that never happens with me.

My yo-yo broke yesterday. I probably already told you peoples about that, but still--it's aggravating. I had to play with a wooden yellow one today that couldn't even go around the world right--and that trick is easy. It also walks the dog too easily--so much that it barely wants to come back up. I don't know..I'm biased. My old yo-yo and I had a special bond from years of playing together--and it getting smacked really hard against the ground, but it hit me in the face a few times, so it really can't complain.

STUPID INTERNET CONNECTION! Sorry, my internet connection is suckish--it's taking forever to load on Barnes and Noble, so I can't continue reading Pure.

I'm just gonna go before I feel the urge to do something very terrible to my laptop--like throw it on the floor and stomp on it--like from a scene from The Other Guys--while I scream things that the average fourteen year old would scratch their heads at--nerd stuff. Me being so angry that even reciting 75 decimals of pi wouldn't help calm me.

I'm just gonna go right now.

Thank you for staying for the fun part of me freaking out!

Half-Finished Reading...

Hey Peoples!

Today, I half-finishd reading Ranger's Apprentice book one!
It is actually a lot better than I was expecting--not that I was expecting it to be bad, I was expecting it to not really be my kind of book--a lot of Rachel's suggestions just aren't my style. This one, though, is actually kinda funny.

So, I got a Christmas present today! We had a church social and we had a gift thing. Everyone gets a random gift--one person at a time--and before they open it, they can steal someone else's instead of opening theirs, then the other person gets that one. I got two candles in these glass jar thingies.
Seriously...me...glass....pink...not really my thing. Glass is bad enough, but pink glass *shudder*--it's going to get broken...I just know my my clumsy self.

My yo-yo broke today. If you know me, you know that is a big thing. My yo-yos have sentimental value. I'm actually really good with them. So, yep, I had to put away my broken fancy one and take out a wooden yellow one--could be worse.

Thank you for suffering through my randomness.

Half- Blood

Okay, peoples, I finished Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout! How awesome is that?

The book was pretty good--lots of fighting. I thought it had its really funny moments, but others it was a tiny bit dull. I don't have anything against it, though, it was still awesome.

Okay, I was talking to Grace today, and it turns out...she likes Seth better than Aiden! I know everyone can have an opinion, but SERIOUSLY!?I thought Aiden was sweet and quiet--a guy that is deadly and silent and fierce. Seth, on the other hand, came across as selfish and arrogant and a little mean--he only really cared about himself and he even said "Apparently, guys aren't allowed in the girls dorm, but I didn't think that would apply to me." He said something like that. Aiden once said "I won't let anything happen to you." or something like that. And I think Aiden is hotter--sorry, that's the girliness in me that hardly ever comes out.
But I still like Aiden better. Who would like the fated love better than the forbidden love anyways? I like forbidden loves so much better. I think she's gonna end up with Aiden--they always do when it's forbidden.

Anyways, that's cooler--the forbidden. I mean, why would Alex follow the rules when she is a known rule breaker?

Jennifer did a pretty good job with it, but it was a little depressing at a few parts--when it talked about how Alex's mom died.

I would, over all, give it four stars. I still like the Lux series a lot more, but I need to forget about that series or I'll get frustrated.

I also want to read the second book in that other alien book--How to break up with an alien is the title to the second book. The third book is--How to marry an alien. I think the titles pretty much give everything away, but they are still freakin awesome books!

Have you been on Candycorn or Bailey's blogs yet? They just added some cool stuff and it's awesome.

More random news! We got a coffee machine today! That is amazing--even though I'm not even a big fan of coffee.

Rachel, I have a message for you--if you're even reading this. Please bring me my stuff at the concert on Sunday. Thanks!

Thank you for reading my obsessiveness and randomness.
Bye!

Okay, more exciting and random news!

There is a voting thing on this website! You vote for your favorite books, movies, authors, shows, bands, and other stuff! Click HERE to go to it!

In other news...

Guess what?!
Sorry, I don't really have anything to talk about. I'm doing this so I can postpone homework.

I started another story. I usually get bored with them unless I have a reason not to. This one is about a girl who thinks up a story of her own. She's the loser of the school, the one who everyone picks on. She thinks up a story where she can control everything that happens. In it she'll meet an alien, discover her bus driver was her protector, and her mom isn't even human. She'll have an amazing adventure in all of this that will almost get her killed.
In the end, when her story is finished, someone will rush into the room. It will be the alien. The whole chain of events happens in real life with a different, not as pleasant ending.
This is what the cover would look like if it was an actual book (more or less like this)
Yeah, if I'm happy with it, I might publish it on here. I doubt if I will, but...you never know.

I think, if I become an author, I'll have the pen name Jac Jones, or Jay Wilson--something that would be easy to remember.

I think I've made you all suffer enough for one night.

Thank you for reading.

Hey!

What up peoples? I'm being rebellious and random right now. I don't really have anything to write about, so, yep, this is gonna be short.

First of all, Happy birthday to Mrs. Stewart!

Yep, Parker, Bailey, Sam, and me were all talking about the zombie apocalypse! It was a very funny discussion. Parker said we need to enslave people for it...any volunteers? No? Didn't think so.

Yep, Parker said he was now Emperor Nerd, so I made him go down to Co-emperor Nerd so I could be an empress. It was funny.

So, yep, we were bored, so now we know what to do during a zombie apocalypse.

I'm actually in school right now--that's what I meant by rebellious. I finished doing research on Chile, and I got bored. Yep, so I'm in the computer lab, looking over my shoulder every five seconds. I still haven't been discovered.

Yeah, I'm getting off now before I get in trouble.

Thank you for your time!

HOW TO DATE AN ALIEN!

I just finished How to Date an Alien! It was awesome!

I have a giant weakness with alien books--even though I haven't even read I am Number Four yet.

How to Date an Alien was about this girl--Alex--who is really intelligent and would get into an awesome Ivy League school...if she had more extracurriculars. So, the summer before her senior year, she asks her dad to get her an internship at the Air Force base he works in--Circe.
She gets there and is immediately attacked by this old lady-looking thing. She is almost choked to death. Her dad had to explain to her in the infirmary that aliens exist and this was not an Air Force place--it was a place where aliens lived.
Circe was inside a few mountains in Arizona, and there is desert all around for, like, thirty miles.
She gets assigned in the security office with the alien that had saved her life with Magpie--the alien that had tried to kill her--Ace. He was also an alien--a Caltian, to be exact--from the planet Calta.
In the same day, at lunch, she is almost killed again, the only difference was this was an octopus looking alien and he was aiming for someone else. Ace saved her again.

What is it with hot aliens? Why couldn't Ace be, like, some ugly green, grotesque guy with three fingers on each hand and a giant eye in the middle of his face? Instead he had to be tall and pale, have cool spikey-ish, black hair, and looks like he's wearing--Alex's quote--"guyliner"--that's how Alex described him.
But seriously! That is soooooo not fair! I wish I could be part of an intergalactic war between the most feared queen in the universe with absolutely no training whatsoever--as long as I could get the guy in the end.

Yeah, I have a funny story for you peoples about this book. I was reading it last night at, like, 9:30, and my head was at the very edge of my pillow, reading intensely. I didn't realize that my iPod was, like, three inches away from my ear. I had just read about the queen of Calta--Ace's mom-- declaring war on Earth and she was going to do it just to get to Alex. Then, right after she finished, I heard a loud BEEP!!!!! I jump up and almost scream. My heart was beating really fast and my sister was in there too--probably wondering what the heck was my problem. My face was probably pale and I was probably looking as freaked as I felt. Then I realized Rachel had texted me and my iPod was on full volume. Hey, to me, I was so deeply into the story that it felt like I was Alex, then I hear something that could resemble how alien weaponry sounds.

I'm gonna make this even longer than it needs to be. Have you peoples ever thought about what could happen if there is a zombie apocalypse? I can honestly say I have never thought about it...until today. Parker--my friend--was being all nerdy and then said something about the best weapon in a zombie apocalypse would be Isaac with a knife. Then he said he was in charge of chemical weaponry (you know, creating it and stuff...and testing it). I asked if I could be one of the Nerds in Charge, and now I am along with (including me):
  • Me
  • Parker
  • Rachel
  • Rachel
I am in charge of all of the trajectories and angles and firing the weapons and stuff (you know, the math genious!) Rachel (the one with the blog Anime Fluff) would be in charge of blueprints--drawing mostly. It's so perfect! Have you people seen Rachel's drawing skills? Seriously! They make me (and half of the school) jealous! Rachel is in charge of military something-or-other (in other words, I forgot). Bailey is going to be the person talking to the zombies, confusing them with her words like she does with living people (or annoying them, whichever works).

Yep, I think I've tortured you peoples enough for one day.

Thank you for reading my incredibly long obsession about hot aliens, Parker's randomness on the likeliness of a zombie apocalypse, and all of the positions we've planned (kiddingly) for a fake zombie apocalypse. And thank you for reading my really long closing statement ;)

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

I HATE IT! I HATE IT! I HATE IT! How could Opal end like that? WHY?!

Like, two seconds ago, I finished Opal. I ain't gonna spoil nothin for y'all but the ending was really sad--really, really, really, really sad. I just can't believe the ending. I thought it would end somewhat happily, but that was nowhere near somewhat happy, barely happy or even remotely happy.

Dawson was a lot better the farther along I got in the book. Dee came around a little more--not much, but it's a start. Ash was still the same brat. I liked Andrew a bit more in this one--only because he wasn't such a jerk and he was a good friend to Dee. Some stuff happened that I thought would never happen--people appeared and disappeared. Everyone in town suspects something because of all of the missing teenagers.
Daemon is still hot---really hot. I'm so glad Katy finally admitted her feelings. They were dating the whole book, so I was satisfied. Daemon could also be the same dude that Katy first met--but at least she doesn't flip him off anymore.
I would give the book five stars--it was fantastic. There were tons of surprises. What surprised me was there weren't as many Arum in this book--which got on my nerves because I like those fights. It was an awesome book, but now I need to get on with my life and try to forget until the next book comes out--you, know...so I won't completely lose it and have to go to a mental hospital.

I've got to move on to other books--I still have to read (or rerereread)
  • Rangers Apprentice (yes, Rachel's getting me to read it.)
  • Half-Blood
  • Hush, Hush
  • Silence
  • Throne of Glass
  • And others
I just started writing again yesterday. Have I ever mentioned I want to write the stories someday--instead of just reading them?
Yeah, well, whatever.
The story is about a girl with amnesia and this guy comes in and tells her a story. The whole book is the story he tells. It's gonna be sweeeeeeet!

Books, Books, Not Enough Books

Opal came out today! I tried to get it before school this morning, but it wasn't available at 5:40 a.m. I had to leave without getting it :(

Opal is just as good as I suspected it would be, even though I'm not very far yet.

I've read a lot the past day. I've reread Hush, Hush and Silence and those are thick. I've had too much time on my hands lately.

Back to Opal....Dawson is in it! Like, on the first page in it! He doesn't talk very much and he kind of scares me a little, but I don't know....he's been through too much.
Dee's a little distant. She's way too distant. She refuses to talk to Katy and she blames Daemon and Katy for not killing Blake--she's mad because they let him go after what he did. Technically, I don't think that is fair because there was too much death that night.
Daemon still hasn't said the words to Katy yet and it's kind of getting on my nerves. I know he feels the same way because of the way he acts and because of the extras from Jennifer Armentrout's blog. She's said it multiple times, but he hasn't said it back and it sucks...for Katy. It is kind of funny, though, that she still wants to stab him sometimes.

I also started Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout. I originally wasn't gonna read it cause I was scared it would be better than the Lux series, but I don't think that's gonna happen, so I've decided to give it a shot. I skipped the prequel--I don't really read prequels until after I've read the other books available.

So....that pretty much sums it all up for me.

Thank you for reading my rambling and obsessing.

Angel Beach

Hey Peoples!
Today I finished Angel Beach, which grabbed my attention enough to keep me from Hush, Hush, so that tells you something.
It was pretty good--not Hush, Hush or Lux series good--but good enough. It was mostly worth my time except there was a lot of cussing and some of the characters were just too mean for my liking. But I am REALLY willing to read that stuff if it's only a dollar. And I'm a sucker for a romance--especially if the girl hates the guy first--like in Obsidian and Hush, Hush.

Have I told you about my epicly terrible fail with Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (I think)? No? Well, I'll repeat it if I have talked about it, if I didn't...pay attention.
Bailey let me borrow Before I Fall a few days ago and I thought This looked good on Barnes and Noble, so I decided to read it, since it was kind of expensive, I knew I wouldn't be able to read it again.
So I started reading and it was okay--not particularly good or awesome, but not bad or terrible either. Then I got to like page forty and got furious. The main character--Sam--was a total jerk to this other girl for no good reason. This girl had never even spoken to her, and Sam pours a drink on her head and shoves her away. She called her 'Psycho' and 'Freak' and a ton of other colorful names that no girl should be called. She said she was weird.
What if Sam went to my school? What would she do to me and my friends? Juliette was not that weird, but my friends and I can be sometimes. We can be goofing off about random stuff, so would she be a jerk to us and call us weird and freaks. Probably.
I was so furious, and I tried--I really did--to get over it, but I couldn't. There was some other stuff that I didn't like, and at that point I was just too mad, so I abandoned a book. That hardly ever happens. That is probably only the fourth or fifth book I've abandoned all year--and I've read more books this year than I have any year in my whole life--I started excessive reading at the end of last year.

Sorry for this being such a long post, but whatever, you can handle it.
Thank you for your time.

Opal!

OH MY GOSH! OPAL IS BEING RELEASED EARLY!
For those of you who don't know me, I don't pre-order books. I don't really see the point. I get my books from my Nook or school library, so there really is no need to pre-order a book.
That being said--Amazon has started releasing the pre-ordered books. The digital books are still pre-order, but STILL!
Click HERE to see the actual post from Jennifer Armentrout.
(On Barnes and Noble, it said it released on December 7th! That is FRIDAY!)

Thank you for listening to me obsess.

FINALLY!

I FINALLY FINISHED DEEP BLUE SECRET! This is what I live for--finishing books. It was sooooooo good!
I did think there would be a little bit more romance then there was--the whole time they were both fighting their feelings toward each other--but it was still very awesome. I give it 4 stars and 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

I want to read Rogue Wave now (I THINK that's the title of the sequel to Deep Blue Secret) but I think I need to think about how good of a couple Rayne and Sadie would be for a while and develop my own ending (I only do that when I'm not satisfied with how it all ended)

So, yep, I got nothin to read now. Tomorrow I'm gonna borrow Hush, Hush from my friend Grace, but until then I'm just going to have to be satisfied with the twenty-something books on my Nook.

Bailey, if you're reading this, I did watch the first episode of Doctor Who yesterday, and it was better than I expected (I think it was the 9th doctor)

Sorry for my randomness and thank you for enduring it.

Greetings to You Random People

Okay, this isn't supposed to be a long post, but, knowing myself, it that might not happen.

I'm still reading Deep Blue Secret--I'm about halfway through it right now (which is, like, over 400 Nook pages) and it is even better than I thought it would be. There are a lot of confusing things about it, but not a particularly bad confusing--it just makes it more of a mystery.

I'm gonna be completely random now and stop talking about books. (Yeah, on the blog I'll talk about books the most, but I might also mention music and movies and stuff like that)
I am required to march in a parade today (playing the flute) and I'm NOT looking forward to it. But, since I value my grade, I have to be there. I have nothing against parades, but I'm pretty much the clumsiest and least-coordinated person on the planet. I probably won't be able to stay in line and I'll probably fall on my face because I tripped or something. It also doesn't help that I haven't been in a parade since the 6th grade.
Anyways, enough of me freaking out about something stupid that I probably don't need to worry about (key word being probably)

In my last post, I mentioned a contest. Well, I can't wait for that to be over already! I know I'm probably not gonna win, since I'm so freaking unlucky, but I really want to see who did win. I want to see who was lucky enough to win such an awesome prize.

I don't really have anything to read after I finish my book,so I think I'm gonna reread Hush, Hush again. It was probably one of my favorite books of all time (which is saying something)...(okay, it's probably in my top twenty favorite, since I have so many)
Rachel (not the one with the blog) is trying to get me to read that Eragon series (I don't know what the series is called) or the Rangers Apprentice series, but I don't know if I'd like them. Dragons aren't really my thing, and I don't even know what a ranger's apprentice is (like, what do you do as a ranger's apprentice?)

Yep, I'm rambling again. This is WAY longer than it's supposed to be, so sorry about that.

So, uh, yeah, GO BOOKS! and all that.

Thank you for reading my rambling and putting up with its weirdnessness.

What's Up?

Okay, I actually finished The Pledge (I don't know who it's by and I'm too lazy to go check)
It was really good, but it had a little bit of violence in it (which I think is awesome) and a little touch of romance (which is my weakness). It was a REALLY good read and I'm probably going to obsess about it and read it until I have it practically memorized (which is what I do when I LOVE a book).

Okay, new topic...
There is this awesome contest  going on right now. It's so awesome I probably shouldn't be blogging about it because you could win because of me and I want to win.
Anyways, the winner gets 25 signed copies of books (I'm not going to name them because that would take FOREVER! Anyways, the home page is...
YA Scavenger Hunt

(by the way, there are two teams. I finished the blue team one because one of the books that you win is Opal, and I NEED to read that book. The other one is the red team)

Yep, that's pretty much it for now.
OH YEAH! Right now I'm actually going to completely read Deep Blue Secret. I'm DETERMINED to actually finish it this time. It's not that it's bad (because it's actually really good) but I've had other books that were more demanding.

Thank you for listening to me obsess and ramble.

Hey Peoples of the Internet!

Okay, guess what? I FINALLY FINISHED FINALE!!!!!!!!! (by Becca Fitzpatrick)
I have waited since a week before it came out (September? I think) and I waited to read it. It was technically all thanks to one of my best friends (Grace) that I even got to read the Hush, Hush series (which was one of the best series I've ever read) and I owe her big-time now.
Now, I've also got other good news.
The Pledge (I don't know who it's by)--its price was lowered 6 bucks! I bought it immediately. Now I still have...
  1. The Pledge
  2. Deep Blue Secret (yes, I haven't read it yet--I've been reading other stuff)
  3. Throne of Glass (it recently came in at my library, so now I FINALLY get to read it)
Yeah, I'm gonna be busy for a while (so I'll probably ignore the urge to get on my blog).

Sorry for my absence, and--like I mentioned already--sorry if I'm not on for a few days--a week at the most.

Thank you for your time.

Hey Peoples! I'm Baaaack!

What's up peoples? Did you miss me? I hope so.

Okay, so I've read 3 out of the 5 books so far, so now all I have left to read during break is
  • Hate That Cat
  • Deep Blue Secret
Then, after that, I'm out of books! I'll be fine, though. I have enough to last me until tomorrow and then Monday I'll get something at the library.

So...the series I just finished had three books in it
  1. Exsistence
  2. Predestined
  3. Ceaseless
It was pretty good, but not something I'll ever read again. It had an interesting story to it, but I'm just gonna reread my favorites from my Nook.

Real quick! I just found out there is an Opal giveaway! How awesome is that!? You just go to jenniferarmentrout.com and click on blog and read the post! Then you just follow the directions to enter!

Gotta go! I'll talk to y'all later!

Thank you for your time. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving! I also hope you all can think of something to be thankful for because there are a lot of things  right now to say.
I won't be writing for a few days, so sorry about that.

I'm now reading a book called Existence. How cool of a title is that? The book is pretty good so far, and I'll probably be done with it by this afternoon. I will say there are a few things that I don't really like about it, but what book is completely perfect? Every book that I've ever finished has had something I wish I could change.

Thank you for your time.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm Bored

We have to do this book report thing at school and it's really annoying. I have nothing against our teacher, it's just kind of annoying to have to do the stupid report.
I guess I'd be perfectly fine with it if all we had to do was do a summary--because that would be easy. But no, we have this whole list to choose from, but all of them seem silly and hard. I just think it would be confusing, and in the choices, describing the book is kind of difficult to do while you're meeting the requirements.
Whatever, I'm rambling.

Okay, right now I'm trying to read five books at once. It's probably going to take me the whole Thanksgiving Break at the rate I'm going.
I'm trying to read:
  • Hate That Cat
  • Existence
  • Predestined
  • Ceaseless
  • Deep Blue Secret
The middle three are part of a series, and I have 14 days to read them since they are all Lend Me books. Deep Blue Secret is a Nook book that I bought today and Hate That Cat is a library book. So Deep Blue Secret is the one I'm probably going to read last, since I'm the one that owns it.

Anyways...So how's everybody's day goin? The longer I'm working on this, the longer I can delay my book report. Not that I'm ever a protagonist.

Hey Peoples!

So, 2 of my best friends of all time have followed my example and created blogs! How cool is that!? Okay, I'm gonna give you the links and names in case you want to see theirs...

Bailey's is called Caution: confusion is afoot   and the link to that is dollopofaeriedust.blogspot.com

Candycorn's new blog is called Anime Fluff   and the link is animefluff.blogspot.com

Candycorn's talks about anime--of course. Bailey's talks about....she hasn't decided, I don't think, so it could really be anything, knowing her.

Thank you for your time.

Another Post From Me...I'm getting so original with titles, huh?

Are you guys getting tired of me yet? I really wanted to talk about some stuff, and I really didn't want to have to wait until tomorrow, so I'm just gonna post it now.

Have any of you ever read Rock and a Hard Place? The one that's under Cool Book Covers? I read it for the first time two weeks ago, and now I've read it enough to know almost every single detail. I only reread books that much that are really good.
The whole story is about a girl--Libby--who's mom died and was abandoned by her dad to live with her crazy aunt--Marge. One day, Libby is sitting under a tree in a nature presserve near the house when a giant tour bus pulls in. Turns out, the nationally--and pretty much internationally--famous band called Jamieson--three teenage boys, Garrett, Peter, and Adam. Libby and Peter meet unexpectedly a few times and then they start a long distance relationship. Blah, blah, blah...Peter's family hates it that he's always on the phone with Libby and thinks that she's distracting him, so they stage an intervention. Long story short, something happens and Libby is gone. Will Peter ever find her?
It was soooooooo gooooooood! I really liked it!
The second book Snapshot sucked, by the way. Do NOT buy it unless you know completely what you're buying. It is not meant for kids, like, fifteen and below. BELIEVE ME! Nothing against the author, who I think did an awesome job with Rock and a Hard Place.

For those of you reading this...what's your favorite book? If you can't choose, then pick a top three or a top five. I'm curious. I'll even post my top five favorite books after at least 5 people answer this. I'm really curious about the answer. (and despite what you might think--my favorites might surprise you...just maybe)

Thank you for your time and thank you for putting up with my randomness.

Another Book I Finished Reading Today...

Love That Dog by  Sharon Creech is the other book I read today. Honestly, I wouldn't even call it a book since the whole thing was random poems written by a little kid. I thought it had no plot and was kind of boring.
I will admit, though, that it was kind of cute. It really makes you think what you wrote when you were young.
It was also a little sad and confusing, but whatever, that's my opinion.
Out of 5 stars, I would probably give it a 2.5 at the most, but--like I said--it did have a moment that was kind of cute.

I will honestly say I would have never--ever--read that book if my friend hadn't insisted. She said she would read Obsidian if I read Love That Dog and another one--I think it's called Hate That Cat? Something like that. I really wanted her to read Obsidian, so I sucked it up and am now reading the second one. That's how obsessed I am with Obsidian.

Going to be totally random here now... You remember me talking about Bailey? Today, I attempted to doodle Gary from Spongebob (this was after I perfected my doodles of Spongebob and Squidward) and Bailey now says she's married to Gary. I don't know why she didn't invite me to the wedding--she's a real friend, right? You hear that, Bailey?! You should have invited me to the freaking wedding!

Thank you for your time and putting up with my randomness (and Bailey's randomness)

BOO-YAH!

I finished my book!!! The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight was awesome! It was good enough for me to read until 3 am, so that's saying something.
It was awesome, and I wish I could talk about it, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who reads it in the future.
I will say that love at first sight is 72% more likely to happen at an airport than anywhere else (according to Oliver). And two people who meet three times over a 24 hour period, are 98% more likely to meet randomly again (again, Oliver's words).
Thank you for putting up with my rambling.

About the Harry Potter Comment...

Someone posted a comment on my blog (thanks! You're the second person!) and you said that I should talk about Harry Potter. Okay, I'm sorry to say this--if you're even reading this--but I've never read Harry Potter. I've read multiple books just this week, but I've never read Harry Potter. Sorry.
So, since I have never read it, I won't be able to talk about it. Please don't hate my blog because there isn't going to be much talk about Harry Potter! There are so many cool books to read and a LOT of them are on my blog.
If you like Harry Potter, you'll almost definitely like...
  • The Lux series
  • The Hush, Hush series
  • The Watchers series (the one on my website in Book Covers)
  • Touch
  • Fallen series
  • etc.
I really am sorry, and I hope you still give my blog a chance--even if I don't really talk about Harry Potter.

Thank you to whoever you are. I really appreciate you spending your time on my blog and giving me a cool suggestion to help make it better--unless you're Bailey, cause then I'm going to yell at you tomorrow--but if you're NOT Bailey (my best friend) then thank you for your time.

Obsessive Randomness

I'm right now reading The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. I'm not very far in it, but it is AWESOME! I LOVE it! I just have a weakness for main characters that are British and named Oliver--and I have no idea why. I also like main characters that are British and named Keeth--again, completely random.

Have you ever seen Brian Regan? He's everywhere on YouTube. He's an AWESOME comedian. (My sister is watching it and I can't stop laughing.) Sorry about my randomness.

Okay, I'm not really THAT random. Random is saying "Purple polka-dotted monkeys laying eggs on a bicycle!" (That's what my friend used to say all the time)

Have any of you ever read the Hush, Hush series? I will probably be very obsessive about that series on here. I REALLY like that series. It's got fallen angels in it! Like hot aliens, hot fallen angels are very hard to beat--but, then again, that is my opinion.
  • Hush, Hush
  • Crescendo
  • Silence
  • Finale
Yeah, it's really hard to compete with hot aliens and fallen angels.
Sorry about my obsessive randomness.

Opal

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout is coming soon! I've been DYING to read this one and I just can't wait. It comes out December 18, 2012. I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait. I NEED to read this book.
The series is called the Lux series and the other books are...
  • Shadows
  • Obsidian
  • Onyx
Awesome series. It's about aliens--what's better than aliens? Oh yeah, hot aliens! Yep, the series is about hot aliens.

Greetings

This is the first time I've ever blogged--there, I said it up front. This is my way to share my knowledge of books (which is extensive) and so I can talk about the books I've read. If you want to talk about a book, or if you want me to read a book that you liked, contact me or post a comment and I'll most likely get back to you on that. Okay?
